KE Gnanavel Raja is one of the leading producers and
distributors in the Tamil film industry. He has produced several blockbusters

During Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India's Tamil version's
promotional event in Chennai recently, Gnanavel Raja surprised everyone with
some shocking statement on leading Kollywood heroes. "Our heroes charge
nearly 50 crores as their remuneration even when their films do a business of
just about 100 crores. Producers are finding it tough to manage the
remunerations of other cast and crew members and even the production values
have come down drastically," said Gnanavel Raja.
