Kaala– the gangster drama
starring Rajinikanth, directed by Pa
Ranjith, was released yesterday on 7th June 2018 in a very grand manner
worldwide. On it’s opening day, Kaala received
mixed response by the movie lovers and critics. According to the traders
report, Kaala has collected Rs 50 Cr gross at Worldwide box office
on its opening day. In this manner, Kaala has
failed to crush the record of Kabali which earned Rs 87.5 Cr
at Worldwide box office on day 1. But the trade
analysts are hopeful that Kaala will score well at the ticket counters.
According to the traders report, Kaala has collected Rs 17 Cr from Tamil Nadu,
Rs 3 Cr from Kerala, Rs 7 Cr from both Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and
Telangana, Rs 6 Cr from ROI and Rs 17 Cr from overseas.
