NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) on Wednesday announced the launch of Auto Gear Shift (AGS) variants of its SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) Vitara Brezza. AGS is also known as Automated Manual Transmission (AMT). Starting at Rs 8.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the AGS variants of the popular compact SUV also get some cosmetic updates on both the exterior and the interior.
The revolutionary AGS technology is being offered on four variants of the Vitara Brezza -- VDi, ZDi, ZDi+ and ZDi+ Dual Tone -- and the company says that it has been fine-tuned for an optimum performance on the model, based on rigorous research of various driving patterns.
The exterior of the Vitara Brezza AGS gets new alloy wheels in a glossy black finish, and the premium front chrome grille and back door chrome garnishing are also standard across all variants. The interior has also received an all-black colour scheme and complementing accents.
