WASHINGTON:
US President Donald Trump continues to
chalk up significant victories on the foreign policy front, the latest being
the freeing on Wednesday of three American prisoners by North Korea, even as
his personal troubles in the domestic sphere, including disclosures of his
alleged dalliance with a pornstar and the Russia connections, continued to
haunt his Presidency.
Trump
himself revealed the homecoming of the three prisoners on Twitter, exultantly
announcing that he would go to Andrews Air Force Base at 2 am Thursday to greet
them on their arrival as they return to the U.S with Secretary of State Mike
Pompeo.
